Use it or Lose it
I remember somebody posting this video on Facebook. I somehow forgot to post this video in the blog. Videos that show older men or women performing physical feats continue to amaze me. It surely is one of the reasons that prod me to believe and embrace physical training as one of the path towards supreme physical health. I don’t want to be bullied by pills, however.
Moreover, I have met several men who abandon physical training when they are 40 years old. It seems that these men unknowingly consider that strenuous physical activity is not for old people. Ironically, it is their 40’s here. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. If you recall the Seven Grand Daddy Laws of physical training, the 5th principle is use/disuse. What do you think it means? It means that while training if you neglect any muscle group it will atrophy—wither. Similarly, if you stop training believing that you are old, your bodies will undergo atrophy. They will be wasted. So, use it or lose it.
